We design and handcraft luxury decorative pillows and couture home accents using globally sourced fabrics selected for their beauty, texture, and character—from rich jacquards and refined linens to intricate embroideries, velvets, and artisan textiles sourced from around the world.

Avenue Stitch began with a simple conversation. My partner and I had both completed major professional projects at nearly the same time, giving us a rare opportunity to build something together. As people who have always filled our homes with original artwork, distinctive furnishings, and meaningful design pieces, we found ourselves frustrated by the decorative pillow market. Everything seemed mass-produced, repetitive, and lacking the character we were searching for. We believed there had to be a better way.

At the time, we were searching for new pillows for our own home and began discussing what was missing from the market. Those conversations inspired a new challenge. I purchased sewing, serging, and embroidery equipment and taught myself the craft, eventually creating more than fifty pillows while refining the skills needed to bring our vision to life. At the same time, my partner focused on sourcing exceptional textiles and researching luxury fabrics that offered the texture, depth, quality, and uniqueness we felt were absent from most retailers.

We chose pillows because, much like artwork, they are statement pieces that help define a space and express personality. We chose luxury textiles because exceptional materials create a richness, durability, and visual depth that cannot be replicated by mass-market products. After selling my previous company, the timing felt right to create something new together. What began as a search for better pillows ultimately became Avenue Stitch—a company dedicated to creating distinctive luxury pieces designed to make every home feel more personal, memorable, and uniquely its own.
